Ingredients (for 1 person)
1 teaspoon pine nuts
2 ounces ground beef, lean, raw
1 dash of salt and pepper
1 cinnamon
1 pinches thyme
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 cups arugula
1 Tablespoon low-fat plain yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons dates, dried
1 (Each) mint leaves
1 small (each) tomatoes
1 large (each) pita bread, wheat
Preparation:
Toast pine nuts in a non-stick frying pan. Quickly remove from the pan and chop,
Knead the ground beef with pine nuts, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and thyme. Form meat into meatballs.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
Add meatballs and cook until golden brown on all sides.
Mix the yogurt with honey, dates, mint, salt, and pepper. Toss with arugula.
Chop tomatoes.
Place meatballs in a pita with tomatoes and arugula.
